Dr. Leo Perlinger
He/Him Dr. Leo founded City Park Vet to build a clinic where a healthy team culture supports great care for clients and their pets. Originally from a mixed farm in rural Saskatchewan, he earned degrees in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan. He began his career in mixed animal practice before spending several years in Australia, where he treated everything from cats and dogs to kangaroos and koalas. These experiences deepened his passion for small animal medicine and gave him insight into what makes a clinic thrive. Leo’s interests include diagnostic imaging (especially ultrasound), dentistry, and surgery. But his favourite part of the job is the relationships—he believes animal people are the best kind of people. He and his husband, Pete, now live on an acreage outside Saskatoon with their dogs, Olive and Cashew; their cat, Fig; and a growing crew of farm animals. Outside the clinic, Leo enjoys running, horseback riding, curling, and spending time outdoors year-round.

Dr. Rebecca joined City Park Vet in 2021 and has been a vital part of our team since. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, she earned her veterinary degree in 2018 after attending the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan. Following a rotating internship in medicine and surgery in Florida, she returned to Saskatoon to work as an emergency clinician at the Veterinary Medical Centre. Dr. Rebecca has a special interest in urgent care and point-of-care ultrasound. Outside the clinic, she enjoys paddleboarding, camping, and exploring the city with her dog, Ricotta, and cats, Gouda and Cheddar.

Ariel was raised in Martensville, SK. They graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2026 and is interested in small animal medicine. She loves all cats & is especially interested in fear free feline care & enjoys surgical prep and anesthesia. When not at work, Ariel enjoys painting, watching horror movies, thrift shopping, going out for sushi, and walking their cat around town. Ariel has one bengal cat named Loki & many plants to take care of at home.

She has a keen interest in dentistry and anesthesia and values building strong relationships with clients and their pets. At home, Jess enjoys tending to her houseplant collection and spending time with her three cats—Archie, Odd Thomas, and Idella—and two dogs, Arya and Bronx.

Alex graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has been practicing as an RVT since November 2020. She enjoys meeting all the furry friends that come through the clinic and has a particular interest in learning the stories behind their names. At home, Alex has a full house with two dogs, Otis and Teddy, and two cats, Bellie and Peanut. In her downtime, she enjoys watching "Big Brother," reading thrillers, and discussing all things Harry Potter.

Dr. Jessica Boswick grew up in Manitoba and completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She has called Saskatoon home throughout her veterinary training and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. During veterinary school, Jessica gained experience in a variety of clinical settings, including small animal practice, shelter medicine, and remote community veterinary care across Western and Northern Canada. Dr. Boswick has a particular passion for surgery, dentistry, emergency and urgent care, community outreach, and improving access to veterinary services. Her commitment to animal welfare and accessible veterinary care has been recognized through a prestigious award in veterinary school for compassionate animal welfare, honouring her efforts to provide veterinary services and support to rural and remote communities throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. She is passionate about providing compassionate, Fear Free care to her patients and believes the best part of her job is working with pet owners as a team. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jess enjoys riding and showing her horse, Davos, in the sport of dressage, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her rescue dog, Sage, and two rescue cats, Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley.

Michelle enjoys hearing all about your pets and is looking forward to meeting you

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Kelsey is dedicated to compassionate care for animals and their humans. She shares her home with her partner, Kreg, their cat, Oxford, and dog, Nova.

After working in Moose Jaw and North Battleford, she recently relocated to Saskatoon with her husband, three children, and two cats. When not at work, Leah enjoys DIY projects, including painting, crafting, home renovations, gardening, and furniture refinishing.

Dakota is a veterinary medical assistant who completed her VMA diploma at Lakeland College in 2016, followed by a year of General Agriculture. She has dedicated much of her life to animal care while being heavily involved in frontline rescue work, and fostering over 100 dogs and cats. Dakota owns an acreage with her partner, Mitchell and shares her home with three pugs, Munch, Moose and Moira, an outdoor pyrenees Skoll, two cats, Frieda and Spencer, and many chickens (and plants!).
